*Please note, The Supreme Court of Ohio adopted rule changes that permanently remove the CLE self-study caps for attorneys, effective January 1, 2023. The changes will allow attorneys to comply with their biennial CLE requirements through approved self-study courses.

 

Ohio CLE Requirement: 24 credit hours every two years

  • 21.5 hours General
  • 2.5 hours in Professional Conduct, including Ethics, Professionalism, Alcoholism, Substance Abuse, Mental Health, or Access to Justice.
 

Ohio CLE Deadline: December 31

  • Attorneys with last names beginning with A through L report in odd-numbered years.
  • Attorneys with last names beginning with M through Z report in even-numbered years.
