Joel Felber is a patent attorney and partner at Leason Ellis. His intellectual property practice has an emphasis on computing hardware and software technologies.
He counsels clients in a variety of technical areas, including digital health engagement and risk platforms, high-performance distributed intelligence systems, imaging systems, social marketing systems, collaborative media creation and wireless systems, and systems for providing cloud-based medical information to primary care and specialty care medical practices, spot market freight data management, interactive communications platforms, and encryption and security systems.
In addition to intellectual property procurement, Joel negotiates and drafts license and purchase agreements and software development and consulting contracts. He also conducts infringement and validity analyses and due diligence.
