                     About This Course
 About This Course
While the focus of any M&A transaction is the business, nearly every transaction will have a real estate component, be it a real property that is owned in fee simple, leased, and/or licensed. This course focuses on the real estate due diligence component of the transaction and highlights practical tips and pitfalls that can arise.
This course will highlight the real property due diligence that should be evaluated and issues that are associated to enable clients to better determine any potential pitfalls and indeed, the true value of the transaction. The approach will be less philosophical and more practical in nature; however, both common law litigation and best practices will be discussed.
Attorneys are encouraged to attend this basic/intermediate program and gain practical tips and understand the typical issues that a real estate attorney may find themselves in while participating in a corporate business transaction.
Learning Objectives:

- Adding value to the transaction purchase/sale agreement.
