Icon About This Course

Movies have long portrayed the foibles of the legal profession. In today’s seminar, we examine legal ethics and the role that some lawyers have played in the media. Often these roles have put the main emphasis on the public’s low perception of the craft with a frequent focus on substance abuse. Emphasis on how Hollywood has played down the public’s perception of the learned profession can hardly be over-estimated. The main goal is how we might best reexamine anew emphasis that legal ethics plays in improving the public’s perception with a positive emphasis on professionalism. Necessary is a reclamation of the attorney in a positive role that many lawyers exhibit in their work as attorneys.
