Gender, Sex & Legal Ethics
About This Course
This seminar presents the potential applicability of legal-ethics standards and principles of professionalism as they relate to individual-status issues pertaining to gender and sex with respect to lawyers as well as with respect to clients. It also involves comprehensive analyses of the current state of legal-ethics regulation on the subject of sexual conduct between lawyer and client. The standards are not uniform nationwide; instead, there are wide variations in the standards as well as jurisdictions which thus far have not chosen to adopt a Rule of Professional Conduct specifically regulating sexual conduct between lawyer and client.
