Ethics of Visual and Testimonial Evidence

About This Course
Presenting Demonstrative and testimonial evidence on video is commonplace in the practice of law. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, attorneys are being compelled to communicate via video for many new and different legal endeavors. And because the video, audio, and digital technology naturally invite scrutiny, behavior amongst the lawyers involved can get adversarial, as the interplay between ethics and veracity is examined. This course teaches the basic laws and techniques for using audio-visual and testimonial evidence as it conflates with the law of ethics, conflicts of interest, and confidentiality.
