Motor Vehicles Search and Seizure

*The program is accessible via Zoom or Telephone.
This course will examine the Fourth Amendment legal issues that arise when a law enforcement officer stops and searches a vehicle. Course topics include the warrant requirement and exceptions to the warrant rule. Mr. Tallmer will also examine consent searches of motor vehicles. Lastly, the course will explore traffic stop-related Fifth Amendment Miranda issues.
