About The Lecturer
Attorney Jessica Tehlirian is the founder of Tehlirian Law Group, a firm built for people who move culture. With over a decade of legal and leadership experience, she leads a powerhouse team providing strategic counsel in sports and entertainment law—protecting athletes, entertainers, and creatives as they scale their brands and secure their next big move—and in personal injury law, where she has personally recovered millions of dollars for clients injured due to negligence. Her practice is rooted in respect, open communication, and treating every client like family.
Jessica began her legal career as a prosecutor in Tallahassee, Florida, where she advocated for thousands of victims and tried more than 20 jury and bench trials involving charges from misdemeanors to homicide. She later became Head of Litigation at The Cochran Firm Jacksonville, managing attorneys while litigating high-value injury cases involving serious injuries and death. She also served as the firm’s National Social Media Manager, leveraging her digital influence to connect with talent, educate the public, and advocate for creatives navigating high-stakes industries.
She went on to serve as Managing Partner of a Florida-based firm, helping expand it from a single office to a national presence, including offices in Atlanta. Now, through Tehlirian Law Group, Jessica brings that same growth-focused vision to the sports, entertainment, and injury law spaces—building relationships, empowering clients, and ensuring they have access to sharp, experienced legal advocates. Her litigation experience spans all aspects of personal injury, including premises liability, car accidents, and truck accidents.
A recognized legal influencer with hundreds of thousands of followers, Jessica is also the author of Social Media Marketing for Lawyers (Barnes & Noble), equipping legal professionals with modern strategies to grow and connect through digital platforms. As a sought-after speaker, she has delivered keynotes and panels across the U.S. and internationally at law schools, women’s empowerment events, and major legal and leadership conferences. Aside from being invited to speak, she often hosts her own events across the country—focused on networking, mentorship, and volunteerism in the academic space.
Jessica earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, her J.D. and Business Law Certificate with Honors from Florida State University College of Law, and her MBA from FSU’s College of Business. She is licensed to practice in Florida and Georgia. Her honors include Top 40 Under 40 Civil Plaintiff Lawyers by The National Trial Lawyers, Top 40 Under 40 by The National Black Lawyers, and Nation’s Best Advocates: 40 Lawyers Under 40 by the National Bar Association.
Beyond the courtroom, Jessica founded The Tehlirian Foundation, a nonprofit mentoring and funding underrepresented students as they navigate their academic and professional journeys. In the past year alone, the Foundation has awarded over $43,000 in scholarships to deserving students.
