About The Lecturer
Ana Erickson is the founder of Erickson Law Group, a boutique law practice dedicated to providing strategic legal support to startups, entrepreneurs, and small business owners. Her practice focuses on contract law, trademark protection, and business formation, with an emphasis on delivering clear, practical guidance that empowers founders to grow with confidence.
Before launching Erickson Law Group, Ana spent several years advising general counsel and in-house legal teams at large, multinational companies. In this role, she supported legal, compliance, and risk functions from a legal consulting and operations perspective, gaining firsthand insight into what makes legal guidance sound and practical. Prior to starting her legal career, Ana had a successful career in a leadership role, leading strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives. This unique blend of both operations and legal experience gives her a unique ability to translate complex legal concepts into actionable business strategies—an approach that sets her apart from traditional legal advisors.
A graduate of Golden Gate University School of Law, Ana also enjoys mentoring aspiring law students and early-career attorneys. She is a committed advocate for increasing diversity in the legal profession and creating more inclusive pathways into law, particularly for non-traditional or first-generation students.
