About The Lecturer
Sean was raised in South Carolina and attended the University of South Carolina, where he received a degree in Journalism and a Master of Mass Communications. He attended law school at the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law.
He has been in private practice since 1997 with a focus on domestic relations. Currently he is a member of the firm of Keefer & Keefer in Charleston where he concentrates his practice on Alternative Dispute Resolution in the Family Courts to include mediation and arbitration. Sean is also a partner in Settlyd.com, a South Carolina-focused suite of family law-focused financial software.
Sean is a member of the South Carolina Alternative Dispute Resolution Commission. In his spare time, Sean is a writer and musician. He is the author of three works of fiction – legal thrillers set in Charleston, South Carolina. He is also the author of the legal guide, Mediation in the South Carolina Family Courts.
