About The Lecturer
Richelle Tucker is Vice President, Compliance Consulting at Fidelity Charitable®, an independent public charity that has helped donors support 382,000 nonprofit organizations with nearly $73 billion in grants.
The mission of Fidelity Charitable® is to grow the American tradition of philanthropy by providing programs that make charitable giving accessible, simple, and effective.
In her current role, Ms. Tucker provides compliance leadership to ensure that new programs and offerings tailored to ultra-high net-worth donors comply with federal and state laws. She brings significant technical expertise on sophisticated charitable giving, trusts and estates, and tax-exempt organizations.
She assumed her current role in 2022. Prior to joining Fidelity Charitable, Ms. Tucker held various roles in which she employed her legal expertise to assist donors in crafting tax-efficient charitable gifts. She was associate director of philanthropic planning at the National Trust for Historic Preservation and, before that, assistant director of planned giving at the University of Maryland, Baltimore.
Ms. Tucker found her passion for working in nonprofit organizations as an undergraduate when she drafted the charter for a new nonprofit organization, Clemson Community Empowerment Enhancement. She is licensed to practice law in Maryland.
