About The Lecturer

Hillary Maynard advises clients on various aspects of intellectual property law, including trademark and copyright prosecution, enforcement, and portfolio management. She is committed to understanding the industry in which clients operate and regularly advises clients on technology, IP licensing agreements, portfolio maintenance, and enforcement of trademarks across multiple industries.

Hillary has significant experience in:

• Trademark and copyright prosecution, enforcement, and portfolio management
• Worldwide trademark clearance and risk assessment
• Transactional licensing and acquisition agreements
• Intellectual property litigation, including inter partes proceedings before the Trademark Trail and Appeal Board (TTAB)

Prior to joining Polsinelli, Hillary was an Intellectual Property Associate for a full service litigation firm. Hillary was a Chicago Intellectual Property Colloquium Fellow and served as Director of Communications for the Intellectual Property Law Society. Upon graduating law school, Hillary received a certificate in international law.
