This Course
The creative industry is a unique, dynamic space where deals can range from one-time activations to multi-year development agreements and everything in between. Participants will learn how to effectively counsel clients in this space and negotiate contractual language, with a particular focus on the provisions that matter most, from Intellectual Property ownership and data rights to AI considerations and creative control.
This program offers practical approaches to developing industry fluency and managing relationships among diverse stakeholders while either establishing trust with business teams as an in-house counsel or building a thriving creative industry focus in private practice.
This course is particularly valuable for transactional attorneys looking to expand into creative industry work as well as those already practicing in the space who want to refine their approach to client advocacy and deal management.
