Family court cases are stressful, can be expensive, and often, when litigated to trial, can lead to results that leave the parties feeling as if they lost control of not only their case but also their lives. This program aims to provide family court attorneys with tools and strategies to prepare their clients for mediation and gain insights into how to use the mediation process to its maximum effect.
The program will help attorneys learn to better prepare not only themselves but also the mediator and their clients for the highest chance of success come mediation day. This course covers how to prepare for mediation—for both clients and attorneys—how to select the proper mediator for the case, and what happens at the mediation.
This course is suitable for attorneys at any level, but it is especially useful for family court attorneys who want to learn new strategies for handling family court mediation.
