About The Lecturer

Brittany Ratelle serves as outside counsel to seven-figure creators and influencers, as well as the brands, agencies, and enterprises partnering and serving them, navigating a deal landscape where advertising regulation, intellectual property, and complex commercial terms intersect in ways that rarely map to traditional practice areas. Her work spans brand sponsorship agreements, licensing and manufacturing partnerships, publishing deals, talent agreements, and the compliance frameworks that allow companies to scale creator marketing programs without exposure gaps. She operates a fully virtual practice and shares insights on creator economy legal issues on LinkedIn and founded Creative Contracts, an attorney-drafted template platform for businesses entering the creator economy.

Ratelle received her Communications and Public Relations degree from Brigham Young University. She went on to receive her Juris Doctorate from BYU Law School.
