About The Lecturer
A purpose-driven leader, Jennifer is the founder and CEO of Jen the Yoga Lawyer LLC and a full-time practicing attorney in Princeton, New Jersey. Jen focuses her law practice on civil litigation, corporate transactions, and environmental and sustainability law. Jen received her J.D. from Albany Law School with a concentration in environmental law and her B.A. from The State University of New York at Albany in Russian language. Jen has also earned a Certificate in Green Economy from PAGE, a consortium of 5 UN Agencies and is the author of Silent Spring+55: The Human Right to a Clean Environment, published by the UC Davis School of Law.
In addition to practicing law, Jen is a life-long yogi and advanced 500-hour certified yoga and meditation teacher. For the last 13 years, Jen has been teaching weekly Hatha yoga classes and leading wellness retreats concurrently with her law practice. Jen teaches for the pure love and joy of teaching and has become a much sought-after national and international yoga teacher and speaker on attorney well-being issues. As an outpouring of the Covid-19 Pandemic, Jen founded Jen the Yoga Lawyer LLC as the vehicle to share the well-being practices that had served her so well over years to help her fellow lawyers lead a more joyful, balanced and resilient life.
