About The Lecturer
Jonathan Lutzky is General Counsel at VICE Media, a global youth media company that includes print, event, music, online, television, and feature film divisions that operates in over 35 countries. VICE is the industry leader in original video for the web, with dozens of original series franchises across all content categories.
Prior to that joining VICE, Jonathan served as counsel at MTV Networks, where he drafted negotiated licenses, venue agreements, talent agreements, merchandising agreements, publishing agreements, broadcasting agreements, and production agreements.
Before his tenure at MTV Networks, Jonathan worked at MasurLaw as associate counsel. Jonathan previously worked at Bienstock & Michael, PC, where he worked on various intellectual property matters, with a particular emphasis on trademark prosecution. Jonathan has experience working closely with musicians, record labels, record producers, television producers, television networks, web developers, visual artists, and inventors.
During law school, Jonathan was a member of the New York Law School Moot Court Association. Throughout his second and third years of law school, Jonathan worked in the Business and Legal Affairs department of EMI Music North America.
