About The Lecturer

Jessica is a Florida licensed attorney and a Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional from the Society for Corporate Compliance and Ethics. She has specifically trained in neutral Title IX, VII, VI, ADA, and ADEA investigations. She holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law, a Master of Science degree in Leadership and Organizational Change from Regis College, and a Certificate in Local Government Management from Florida Gulf Coast University.

She started her legal career investigating employment discrimination complaints with the Louisville Metro Human Relations Commission in Louisville, Kentucky. She joined Lindsey at Scott Wagner and Associates, P.A. as a National Employment Lawyers Association Fellow and stayed with the firm until 2016. Following that, she worked at Florida Gulf Coast University as an Investigator in the Office of Institutional Equity and Compliance, eventually moving into the Assistant Director and Senior Deputy Title IX Coordinator in the same office.

In 2021, she moved to the legal team at FGCU, serving as the Assistant General Counsel for the school. She is currently the ADA Coordinator in Rockville, Maryland; a yoga teacher; and an adjunct professor teaching Business Law and Disability Law.
