About The Lecturer
Stephanie Drawdy is an artist and attorney. After graduating from New York Law School, she served on the New York City Bar Association’s Art Law Committee and received a diploma in Art Profession Law and Ethics from Institute of Art and Law. Stephanie has returned to the NYC Bar Association’s Art Law Committee as a member for the term 2024-2027, volunteers with New York’s Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, writes extensively on art law issues (including for Institute of Art and Law’s quarterly Art Antiquity and Law Journal and blog and the ABA Art & Cultural Heritage Law Committee Newsletter), was a contributing author for the Second Edition of Museums and the Holocaust and has offered discourse on art law issues in collaboration with Center for Art Law, Institute of Art and Law and TRTCLE. Stephanie also hosts Warfare of Art and Law podcast and 2ND Saturday Art & Justice online gatherings and maintains a painting practice.
