About The Lecturer
Stephanie Drawdy is an artist, attorney, and host of Warfare of Art and Law podcast. She presents keynotes and workshops on art law issues with a focus on emerging technology’s impact on art, culture, and artists’ rights.
She has offered discourse on art law issues in collaboration with Institute of Art and Law, Center for Art Law, and TRTCLE, as well as arts associations such as the Association of Medical Illustrators, Professional Advisors to the International Art Market (PAIAM), and New York Academy of Art’s Alumni Association. Her written contributions related to emerging tech in the arts have been included in the Art Antiquity and Law Journal and the forthcoming series on Art & Innovation Law presented by University of Lausanne in a chapter entitled “Artists’ Rights and Emerging Technologies: A Creator-Centric Study”. Additionally, Stephanie was a contributing author for the Second Edition of Museums and the Holocaust.
Stephanie serves as a member of the New York City Bar Association’s Art Law Committee and co-chair of the Pro Bono Committee for the New York State Bar Association’s Entertainment, Arts & Sports Law Executive Committee. She also hosts 2ND Saturday Art & Justice online gatherings and maintains a painting practice.
