About The Lecturer
Ms. Woods graduated from Fordham Law School, where she worked on the Journal of Corporate and Financial Law. After graduation, Ms. Woods clerked for the Honorable Alan L. Gropper (ret.) in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York.
Upon completing her clerkship, Ms. Woods worked in the bankruptcy and restructuring departments at Arent Fox LLP and then for Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP before joining Bloomberg as a Bankruptcy Legal Analyst.
After running her own successful legal practice since 2013, in 2023, Ms. Woods joined Heimdall RWA as its General Counsel to advise on bankruptcy issues. Ms. Woods also continues to represent individuals and small businesses—debtors, creditors, and third parties—in bankruptcies and out-of-court restructurings at Weinberg Zareh Malkin Price LLP, where she heads up the firm's bankruptcy practice.
