Icon About This Course

Generational differences play a major role in client communications. In this course, Ms. Seibert will explain the multitude of ways that attorneys can improve communication with clients, especially clients with generational differences. She will begin by discussing the generational differences and how they affect legal decision-making between Generation Z, Generation X, Millennials, and Baby Boomers. Moreover, Ms. Seibert will review distinguishing communication milestones that occur throughout the attorney/ client relationship, regardless of the practice area. These “communication milestones” include turning down a client, retainer agreements, keeping clients informed, and dropping a case. Ms. Seibert will conclude this course by providing hypothetical scenarios wherein attorneys will apply what they have learned about communication styles to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues of different generations.
