While attorneys play a vital role in advocating for clients inside the courtroom, there are countless ways to drive change beyond it. Lawyers who understand how to use their advocacy skills outside traditional legal settings through strategic communication, compelling storytelling, community collaboration, and media engagement can shape public discourse, influence policymakers, and help shift cultural narratives. These tools are essential for advancing social justice and creating lasting systemic change for their clients and beyond.
In this session, attorneys will explore how to expand their impact by mastering the core elements of advocacy beyond litigation. Topics include effective messaging, campaign strategies, collaboration with community partners, and the power of narrative to engage broader audiences and serve their clients and the public.
