Icon About This Course

In this illuminating course, attorney Christopher O’Donnell explains the complex facets of the lawyer-client confidentiality agreement. He explains that the rule is vital to garner trust between attorneys and their clients, fostering a mutually beneficial relationship. If trust cannot be achieved, the lawyer cannot do their job effectively.

Although the rule can be quite ambiguous in the context of a trial or when a judge orders motions for certain information, attorneys have an ethical obligation to their clients to advocate for them and their right to confidentiality.

Mr. O’Donnell uses anecdotes from his own extensive practice in trials, experiences of colleagues, and from widely known prevalent cases to create a captivating and informative course on Ethics.
