When drafting a contract, attorneys must communicate the transaction in a way that advances their client's interests effectively. In this course, Mr. Resko will review drafting and executing persuasive and effective contracts. He begins by explaining the difference between "Business Terms" and "Legal Terms." Then, addressing the importance of learning about the transaction details that the contract is being drafted. Mr. Resko will also explore ethical considerations and how to use clear and compelling language. He concludes this discussion by reviewing different components of a contract and providing an example of Membership Purchase Agreements and the various sections that go into them.
