Understanding the Kansas CLE Requirement

Total CLE Requirement:

12 credit hours annually

Credit Format:

12 hours can be completed live or online through our live teleconferences or on-demand, online courses.

Credit Breakdown:

10 hours General
At least 2 hours of Ethics/Professionalism
Up to 2 hours of Law Practice Management

Compliance Deadline:

June 30

Reporting Deadline:

July 31

Reporting Information:

TRTCLE reports your completed courses to the Kansas Continuing Legal Education Department.

Newly Admitted Requirement:

New attorneys are exempt from CLE requirements during the first compliance period of their admission.
