Attorneys are encouraged to attend this program and learn concrete solutions to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) challenges within the legal profession. Discussions will include how to create your own Allyship Playbook with strategic and measurable goals for clients and the underserved, the differences between microaggressions and microinequities, explicit bias and unconscious bias, what diversity means, and the three most important aspects for creating a safe workplace culture, as well as how to be an ally to underrepresented groups. Attorneys from all areas of the legal profession and levels of experience, who desire to create a legal workplace that is diverse, inclusive and equitable, will benefit from attending this program.
