Icon About This Course

This course for lawyers on "Substance Abuse" became widely accepted terminology to describe what is, essentially, self-abuse by misuse of, or addiction to, substances such as alcohol and/or drugs (legal and/or illegal). It's one of the most challenging aspects of the legal profession's responsibility (as a part of the judicial branch) to prescribe and enforce ethical and professional standards for lawyers to protect clients, the public, and the administration of justice. The seminar presents useful historical and current information for highly interactive analyses and discussions about such regulatory responsibilities.
