In this course, Mr. Tallmer provides an overview of the federal and state laws governing excessive force and police brutality. He discusses the history of police brutality laws, while defining what constitutes brutality and excessive force. Moreover, Mr. Tallmer addresses the measures that are put in place to deter police brutality. Mr Tallmer concludes this course by going over the Exclusionary Rule and the laws governing police-related litigation.
