About The Lecturer

Aura A. Montes Rodríguez is a Member of the Litigation Department at O’Neill & Borges LLC. She represents clients in complex commercial disputes, including breach of contract, insurance claims, creditors’ rights, business torts, product liability, regulatory matters, and administrative proceedings. Clients rely on Aura for her strategic insight and deep litigation experience, especially when navigating challenging legal and business issues.

Aura has successfully handled cases in both state and federal courts, including the U.S. District Court for the District of Puerto Rico and appellate courts. She is known for delivering practical solutions and strong advocacy at every stage of litigation.
Before joining O’Neill & Borges, Aura clerked for Associate Justice Hon. Edgardo Rivera-García of the Puerto Rico Supreme Court. She is also a published author of several law review articles.

Aura earned her J.D. from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico School of Law (2009).
