About The Lecturer
Lisa N. Roskos, Esq. is a family law attorney who represents clients in sensitive and often complex family matters, with a focus on survivors of domestic violence and custody, visitation, and child support disputes. She is known for a compassionate yet strategic approach that helps clients navigate emotionally charged proceedings while ensuring their rights and voices are protected. Lisa is currently Senior Counsel on the Family Law team at Cohen, Seglias, Pallas, Greenhall & Furman, P.C.
Lisa holds a B.S. in Biology from Duquesne University, with minors in Biochemistry, Math, and Forensics, and earned her J.D. cum laude from The Pennsylvania State University, Dickinson School of Law in 2011.
Her prior experience includes serving as Director of Pro Bono Programs for a nonprofit supporting low-income survivors of domestic violence, where she also represented clients in FRO and FPO hearings, mentored volunteer attorneys, and developed client-focused empowerment initiatives. She has also practiced at a New Jersey law firm handling a broad family and matrimonial caseload, including negotiation, motion practice, appellate work, and related civil matters such as estates and real estate.
