About The Lecturer

Kristina Bergsten, Esquire is the owner and founder of The Animal Law Firm (ALF). Attorney Bergsten graduated from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and began practicing law in Pennsylvania in 2013 where she cut her teeth on a federal lawsuit involving the shooting death of a dog by State Police. Thereafter, she moved to Colorado to begin a new career trajectory in the shadow of the Rocky Mountains. In just five short years, her firm expanded to Pennsylvania and New Jersey making it the first national law firm representing pets and their people.

The ALF comprises lawyers specializing in animal law who advocate for pet and animal owners seeking legal representation for criminal and civil cases involving their domesticated animals. The ALF fights for the underdog in Colorado, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania.
