This program will provide legal professionals with an in-depth analysis of child and elder abuse, including key definitions and indicators, as well as the role of attorneys and other mandated reporters. Participants will explore the provisions of the Elder Justice Act and the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act (CAPTA), along with state statutes and guidelines, to understand the mechanisms for identifying and reporting abuse.
