Understanding and navigating creditor’s rights can be complex for attorneys as many avenues are involved, from the contract to consideration to the lawsuit. This course provides attorneys basic information on creditors' rights to collect client money.

This program will cover the two potential steps in this process. First, they need to recover funds; second, they need to assist the client in collecting the money. This can be much harder than it appears. Attendees will discuss this process through a series of hypothetical scenarios. The legal standard of establishing a breach of contract claim will also be covered.

This course is intended for attorneys with little experience or attorneys looking for a refresher on handling breaches of contracts involving money.
