Representing and negotiating and drafting contracts for professional athletes can be a complex and demanding endeavor, dealing with the athlete's agent, sponsor(s), promoters, and others that are involved can be difficult to navigate. Paul Haberman, Esq., helps ease the stress with this course, by providing a thorough explanation of the contractual terms necessary, from the responsibilities of the agent/manager to the division of earning and compensation, assignments, the power to modify, suspend, or cancel the agreement, extending and tolling provisions, termination, and exclusivity. Mr. Haberman goes through the basics and concludes with additional items to consider from immigration issues to weight loss or gain.
