This course will provide attorneys with an in-depth explanation of the Fifth Amendment to the United States Constitution, which is part of the Bill of Rights. In this course, Ms. Middleton, will discuss the different sections of the Fifth Amendment and explain the meaning behind “Pleading the Fifth” and the privilege against self-incrimination. There will also be a discussion about the Grand Jury Clause, the Double Jeopardy Clause, the Takings Clause, and the Due Process Clause. Attorneys will have the opportunity to ask questions and participate during the duration of the program.

Central: 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm CT

Mountain: 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm MT
