AboutAbout This Course

Legal ethics decisions – from the public’s perspective – arguably often cast the
professional in the role of noble or knave. This is especially so when considering the media
depiction of lawyers, with the professional’s disproportionate impact on influencing the
public mindset. Resorting to pertinent film excerpts, clips, court decisions and news
reports of lawyer deportment, the materials are scrutinized in an attempt to better
understand the influence of the media – for the good, the bad or the indifferent as it
impacts the practice of law.
