AboutAbout This Course

This seminar focuses on the toll depression takes on lawyers, with emphasis on the high cost exacted when Alzheimer’s disease and other memory problems are factored in. Interesting cases include lawyers involved in hit and run accidents; what impact a helping hand of someone from the bench might offer; the impact of alcohol on attorney conduct, and how courts respond to attorneys who have become addicted to illegal drugs. A pivotal point examines what sanctions should be considered where a lawyer takes sexual advantage of a client with diminished capacity.
