There is a uniqueness to Medical Professional employment contracts that differ from many other employment contracts. In this course, Paul Haberman, Esq., will provide a conceptual understanding of nuances that come up when drafting employment agreements on behalf of a hospital or corporation for a prospective new employee or partner. Mr. Haberman will go through the pertinent aspects of the agreement, from defining the duties, responsibilities, and requirements of a new physician, detailing compliance with policies and laws, compensation, professional liability insurance, expenses, exclusivity of the agreement, to resignation privileges, confidential information clauses, and non-competition/solicitation clauses. Mr. Haberman will end his discussion with the current hot topics, including but not limited to telemedicine, medical marijuana, and alternative medicine.
