About This Course
This seminar focuses on significant ethics cases during these first two decades of the 21st century. A lawyer retained or employed by a corporation represents the entity as observed in revisiting ABA Model Rule 1.13. Note that when the order to reinstate in-house counsel applies as well as why corporate counsel’s disloyalty is seen as nearly inexcusable. Emphasis is directed anew here to corporate counsel issues in examining matters of admission and readmission, such as encountered in exploring seminal cases such as Caperton v. A.T. Massey (U.S., 2009).
