AboutAbout This Course

For attorneys, reporting elder abuse and child abuse can present difficult ethical dilemmas.  When a lawyer learns of or suspects elder abuse or child abuse, he or she is faced with a whole host of difficult questions and a range of possible responses.  The way that an attorney responds to the situation can have a significant impact on the relationship between the attorney and his or her client, that attorney’s reputation, and the life of the older adult or child in question.  These are areas where attorneys feel they need further Continuing Legal Education and in this course, Coleen Middleton, Esq., covers the essentials.
