TRT, Inc. Corporate Overview
TRT, Inc. was founded in 1990 by Bill and Nett Brown, following Bill Brown’s publication of The Right Thing: ethics inaction, ethics in action. Initially TRT, Inc. specialized in teaching legal ethics CLE offering small, live, on site seminars in up to 10 states. National CLE and CLE for International lawyers is available through our teleconference or online courses.
Live Seminars by Telephone
Requiring less travel time, the teleconference courses were so popular that attorneys requested more than the wide range of ethics classes offered. TRT, Inc. hired other professors to teach a variety of substantive courses. We have the distinction of being one of very few CLE providers with a paid faculty, providing excellence in instruction that few providers can attain. All 2-hour toll free courses are LIVE—no boring tapes—and are offered at least once each month.
Seminars Online
Years ago the VA state bar was considering approving online CLE. TRT, Inc. had begun offering online courses in other states, enabling them to assist the VSB in writing the new rules. TRT, Inc. produced the first online courses approved in Virginia and now provides high quality seminars in video format which are pre-approved for Mandatory Continuing Legal Education in most states allowing CLE credit to be earned via the Internet.
